Covington Club Apartments

We moved in here because we could not find a place closer to my workplace at short notice, and now we realise why apartments are always available here and why they have 'Move In Specials'- simply because no one wants to live here for long. The appliances are old, sometimes obsolete, and one apartment had a heater from the early 70's. The gadgets are, not surprisingly, energy guzzling, and the insulation minimal, and so do not be surprised with very high energy bills in the mid-west winter. The management is very unfair, and rules are made and changed to always benefit the management- the tenant always has a raw deal and feels shortchanged every inch of the way. We once had someone walk up to our door to do some soliciting- and the management of course said they could not do anything about it. And beware if any of your appliances break down afterhours or on a weekend- you will not get any help to fix them- as supposedly maintainence for all appliances occurs only during normal workhours.
