Do not rent from here if you have a service pet!!!!!!!!! These folks are not familiar with any type of laws. I have a service pet and was told by Mandy the Property Manager to provide documentation regarding my pet and a note from my doctor(not only is this against ADA rules & regulations it is against the law)! Here is the law *When it is not obvious what service an animal provides, only limited inquiries are allowed. Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. Staff cannot ask about the person's disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task. I even called he corp office (Mandy's) boss who was not familiar w/the law. Then he asked me if I had a voucher (what you think I am sec 8 because I have a service pet??????) What? They can not even ask for a pet fee, pet rent or restrict due to the breed of your pet! If Mandy keeps practicing this way-someone will be filthy rich after they file a claim. People know the laws! Mandy and her boss do not and I wont be renting with them.
