Prairie Vista Luxury Apartments

We've found the management here to be very accomodating. Sandy and the other staff have been very nice, and the maintenance person is prompt and gets it done. The apartments are pretty and have trendy colors and fixtures, plus it's always fun to live in a brand new place (no one else's coffee stains!). We've had no problems with the free Internet, and we like the north Peoria location (it's a new, sort of "up and coming" neighborhood). The biggest problem we've had is the noise. It's not that the neighbors are noisy, it's just that you can hear through the walls too easily. I've lived in apartments for the last twenty years, and I've never had to deal with a lack of privacy to this degree. It's surprising given that the complex is promoted as a "luxury setting." I can hear my neighbors sneeze. I'm not kidding. Every conversation, every toilet flush, everything (and I do mean everything) is crystal clear. No one can look their neighbors in the eye! That said, it's an apartment, and most residents here probably view their apartment as a stepping stone to their own home.
