The Village at Colbert Park

I am a first year veterinary student and decided to live here because many other vet students ahead of me spoke well about the place and many in my class were planning on living here. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment which is really nice because I have my own bathroom. The train is loud and can be annoying while watching television or on the phone, but otherwise I don't notice it and rarely wake up to it in the middle of the night. The complex is nice, the front desk personnel are friendly. They often have promotional events which are fun, and sometimes you get free food, which is always a plus! I've decided to move elsewhere for next year because of the distance. It's an easy drive to school, but I would much prefer to be closer to downtown champaign and Urbana, other than the Buffalo Wild Wings and the movie theater, there isn't much out here. The workout room is super handy, but its small and during the high traffic hours you may have to change your workout plan. The parking lot is also sometimes frustrating, there's not quite enough spots near my end of the lot, but other areas are usually full of empty spaces, and it seems to be full of some reckless drivers as my roommate lost a chunk of her bumper and I have acquired a few random dings over the year. You look around and a lot of cars have damaged bumpers and dents on relatively nice looking cars.
