DO NOT RENT FROM SAVANNAH TRACE
Noise: you can hear the people above you walking, talking and doing other everyday living things (I'll leave that to your imagination). The door that leads into the foyer of your apartment slams shut everytime and shakes your front door.

Parking: Parking is okay except for the weekends, especially at night or on football sundays. On those days there is nowhere to park.

Maintenance: These guys are the only good thing about this place. They are ready and willing to fix whatever needs to be fixed.

Office Staff: They only care when you are giving them money to move in and they tell you whatever you want to hear. We asked about the noise and they told us we wouldn't hear anyone--LIE.

It seems as though they look at your age and put you into an apartment complex with people the same age as you. We felt like we were living in a dorm at college. The people upstairs had visitors no matter what time of day or night. It would normally not bother us but with a 2 month old, the place was not conducive to the quiet place we needed. The office staff were aware of our needs and did not comply to what we needed.

THE AWFUL TRUTH: We were infested with MICE. Yes, MICE. WE killed 18 of them. We were killing 4-5 per day. Our dog had to stay at my mom's house. We notified the office of the problem and they had the maintenence guys lay traps. Unfortuately, the traps were the ones that had the adhesive on them not the real ones that kill them. So we put out the real traps and every time we killed one, I called the office and was told that "eventually we will get them all so there is no need to worry." Really, because I can't play on the floor with my 2 month old. I've never had a mouse problem before why now? "Oh because there is construction going on behind us." And that was supposed to make me feel better, well it doesn't. I even threatened to leave without paying the last 2 months of our lease. My next step was to call the health department.

The maintenance guys came in and tore the apartment apart trying to find where they were coming in from--they couldn't find a hole anywhere. They did take precautions though and sealed placed where the mice could possibly be coming in. They also came in and cleaned the carpets after about one week of not catching any mice.7/31/2019
