Resident 2001

12/11/2012

I lived at Tall Oaks Village a very long time ago for a VERY short period of time... like 6 months! The reason that I moved is because I worked overnights and the office staff said that I was require to report the social security number and name of any overnight guest on their answering machine and that I could only have an overnight guest a maximum of 14 times per year. Obviously that would not work for my situation as I had an infant son and I had someone that watched him in my home while I worked. I thought that was absolutely crazy that they were so insensitive! It wasn't like it was my boyfriend or baby daddy or anything. It was a female friend that was helping me out, I was in no way trying to "get over on them" or have someone live with me. I had a creepy next door neighbor that used to put boxes of odds and ends canned goods in front of my door as well. Getting groceries to your building (in the middle especially) is a joke! Trying to get to their laundry room is also a big pain! As far as the rent calculations go, I can definitely tell you, the office staff has nothing to do with that. Those calculations come directly from HUD and although they do seem unfair at times, office staff cannot control them.
