Resident 2015 - 2016

* Late rent payment does NOT have anything to do with how poorly management will treat you as I have paid rent on time, everytime. * -The inside of the buildings are not kept up and apartment repairs are done the cheapest possible. Maintenance is a joke and you're "lucky" if they show up. - Upon move in there were cigarette burns in the carpet though they claim it's a non smoking building, the tub had paint chipped off in various places, carpet unraveling near the closets, and cracks around the window frames. After numerous calls to the office and a year later none of it is fixed and all of it in worse condition which they expect us to pay for. The AC went out during the summer and we couldn't get it fixed until fall. Two maintenance workers didn't know what they were doing and said it was fine though it banged loud enough to keep you up all night and wouldn't cool the room anymore. The other guy kept saying he would show up to look and never did. Finally, the last one to come out.. came and had it fixed in under 10 mins. There has been water damage due to a negligent neighbor and all they did was repaint, poorly, you can still see the damage.. He said he would be here the next day to finish and never showed up. Multiple calls to fix the issue never lead anywhere. The hallway carpet in common areas is stained from tenants leaving dog feces, urine, and vomit there and not cleaning their spills either. I have reported the feces in the hall to the office and been told the cleaning lady wasn't around it would be a few days to pick it up. Or that someone would be out to clean it, but come home at night and find it still there. 90% of the time it smells of weed, smoke, and mildew throughout the halls. The electricity in the building and all the units has gone out more than 6 times in one year. When it didn't go out you would see lights flicker and worry it was going to again. The main entrance door has been broken numerous times and it's just quick "fixes". Anyone could get in and out easily without a key. Mind you they let a rapist move into one of the units despite their "background checks" you pay for to get in. And we have people dealing drugs in the parking lot. - Major pest problems and lazy, unresponsive, management- I have had a mouse problem that I notified the office of right away. For 2 weeks I was told orkin needed special equipment (to catch mice, really?) and given various dates each call that they would come out. In the end maintenance came with sticky pads and caulk.. I ended up having to get rid of the mice myself. In the summer and spring there is a horrible ant problem which was the only one taken care of promptly. My unit has been infested with fleas due to careless pet owners most likely as my pets are treated monthly. Management expects you to pay to get rid of it. I know someone without pets with an infestation and they are being forced to pay also. Parking rules are not enforced. Many nights I'm left driving around trying to find parking because people park more than 1 car against the building and visitors also. They are supposed to park in designated areas across the building. There are only 2 handicap spaces which get used regularly by people without handicap plates/stickers. Security just rolls by 2x a night and doesn't bother with any of it. All the office has done is send out a letter .... Neighbors like to blast music day and night loud enough to make my walls shake and it sound like a thunderstorm in the building. When I told management they told me they don't handle noise complaints to call the police. I've been told by an officer it's a lease violation and is management's responsibilty to enforce first before having to involve police. Tenants also like to blare the car radio in front of your window 24/7 and of course management won't do anything about it. You will hear them going in and out of the building all night. I was visiting a neighbor and kept hearing the main entrance door since the unit is near it. All in all.. This place is the worse I've ever been in. Dirty, noisey, unsafe, uncaring lazy staff, high prices with you paying everything but gas, vermin infested, and ridiculous lease clauses. (Wish we had more time to read it over.) Do yourself a favor and take your hard earned money somewhere else.
