My husband and I have lived here for a year and half with progressively declining service. When our air conditioner went out in October '11 (an unusually warm Oct.), what should have taken a few days to fix is still not completely resolved (as of February '12). There were broken and arched electrical wiring that had to be completely redone. Holes in the wall; dust every where. And, to find the problem, they had to completely tear up the patio. The wall had to be replastered three times to get it smooth. The first fix made holes in the wall behind the original wall. Trying to find out what was going on and if/when the next step would be taken was like pulling teeth. I always had to go to them to find out; only once I recieved a return call. The return call was to say, "Oh, I thought someone else had called you." This was two days before we recieved notice that property had been sold. This letter was effective as of that day and did not provide any details about the new owners or managers. Several days later we recieved another letter "introducing" the new management (that did not include any information about the new owners) and was dated the same date as the first letter. They started off on the wrong foot and it hasn't gotten any better. The patio got put back, but only just before the weather started to get too cold. So, now the weather is too cold to put the air conditioning unit back in. So, the job has not been resolved. When I asked about some kind of rent compensation, I was told that we could have an accent wall painted. So our compensation is to have them come back into the apartment and have them do more work? I still can't get them to return a call to get this resolved. The rent does not match the level of service provided.
