Each bldg has it's own set of owners (investment property). I am a 14 year renter ONLY because I hate carpeting. Tom (mgr) does not respond to phone inquories regarding maintenance problems. Laundry machines are 30yrs old. When repairs are done, he uses sub-standard, non-licensed workers, and interior repairs need to be done over and over and over. Units have NEVER been painted (only white-wash every 5-10yrs).I had a (5) week ant infestation that went unaddressed 07.2008 (5 units were involved). My unit was broken into during day-time when I was at work 08.2008. Tom REFUSED to provide a deadbolt lock (multiple requests over 8yrs). Current door-knob type locks blow open with a strong wind and doors can be easily pushed open. Per last-nights interview with multiple tenants, current rents for studio units are $630.00, with 2nd floor going for $650.00, and my reward for sticking it out is to receive an increase to $675.00. Keep in mind that my neighbors are paying $630.00.The complex needs NEW MGMT.
