Overall we are okay with our apartment, but things we wish we had known beforehand: 1) As mentioned in the other reviews, management is initially very helpful and accessible but once that lease is signed, forget trying to get a hold of them and get the help or answers you need. 2) We didn't realize until the cable guy came a few days after moving in that there is only one cable hookup, in the living room. So don't plan on watching TV in the bedrooms. 3) Also didn't realize until after moving in that there is no AC unit in the 2nd bedroom. 4) Not a lot of soundproofing. You can hear everything going on next door and in the hallway. Mostly you hear a lot of door slamming and stereos and TVs. We live on the ground floor and when the guy above us walks around, the ceiling shakes, and when he uses the dishwasher or takes a shower, we hear the water running as if it's in our own apartment. It gets really annoying. 5) Ask to look at the actual apartment you will be moving in to before you sign anything! We didn't think to do this, and were kind of surprised at how much different the place looked from the demo. Now to the plus side. Our place is very roomy, and the grounds are so nice. Most of the people who live on our street seem to be very sweet older people who generally keep to themselves. There are some people (unfortunately all of whom seem to be in our building) who are younger and inconsiderately loud, but as frustrating and rude as it is, they are harmless. We feel completely safe here, and when it comes down to it our priorities finding a place to live was safety and cleanliness, both of which we have here. So overall we are happy with our decision to move in here.
