An awful choice. The places look nice, but all the fixtures are cheap. Our A/C broke twice. The washer/dryer is cheap, noisy and takes a long time to dry. Our fridge was replaced, but only after a month of having water on the kitchen floor every day. If you look at the ceiling, you will find drywall screws sticking out. Water pressure in the shower was bad. The painters they hired were sloppy, so there is paint where it shouldn't be. We also had lots of ants and a few mice.
Say goodbye to your security deposit.
The people in the neighborhood are not, in general, at all interested in being courteous, much less, friendly. One guy liked to run an auto body shop in front of his place- annoying noise (like going to the dentist) and red sludge draining into the parking lot drain all day on Saturdays. Watch your step, or there will be dog excrement on your shoe. Another guy parked his truck directly under the 'no parking' sign every day.
The ladies at the rental office seem to be competent and friendly. They will lure you into a terrible set up. Bloomington has so many charming places to live. I spent years in Bloomington, and this was the worst of 5 apartments in terms of value.
