Resident 2013 - 2014

6/5/2014

I have really enjoyed living at Hidden Hills for the past year - so much, that if I weren't moving away, I would probably resign and stay another year. The west side is a perfect location for us (I'm an Ivy Tech student and my roommate graduated from IU). It is only 10 min drive down 2nd st. from campus/downtown, it has GREAT access to highway 37, and very close to restaurants/stores on 3rd st. Rent was very reasonable, especially for everything that is included. We have never had any issues with our neighbors. We are mostly surrounded by nice and quiet families (a stark difference from places like Copper Beech). The whole community has been recently renovated and it looks great. They also FINALLY finished the work out facility and resident center - both of which are really really nice.. Just wish they had been honest with us about how long it would take to complete them. Other than that, the office staff and maintenance have been extremely attentive and kind. These apartments are perfect for dog owners and active individuals. Lake Wapehani is literally right behind the complex. Although it is technically a mountain bike park, the dozens of different trails are also great for hiking or walking pets. A downside we encountered is that there are no street lamps and the streets/sidewalks are fairly dark after sundown. We did not feel safe leaving our apartment after dark. Also, the water/sewage/trash are configured on average of all apartments - not based on how much water you actually use.
