I've lived here at Sterling for less than a year, unfortunately I signed a year lease, and I hate it. When I visited the property for the first time, I thought it was amazing..free tanning, nice pool and hot tub, 24 hour fitness center, 24 hr computer lab, campus shuttle, pretty much anything you could ask for. Now that I'm 5 months into my lease I realize that..they don't change the bulbs in the tanning bed so that's a waste of time, you can't go into the pool without your feet getting cut because the sharp pieces of paint chipping up on the bottom of the pool, half of the machines in the weight room are broken, only a few computers in the comp. lab work, they are no longer running the campus shuttle, and nobody cares about the sand volleyball courts, grills, and etc. For the price we pay? It's awful. The management doesn't do their jobs, not to mention the students that TRY to run the office. I moved into my apartment and it hadn't been turned. There were roaches in my closet before I even moved anything in. I had to clean everything because it was so nasty. Luckily a few months later, they had a pest control company start spraying the apartments. It's actually a state law that every apt. unit is supposed to be sprayed monthly; obviously Sterling wasn't doing that before. Your lease states that "your required to use a money order if your rent is paid after the 10th day of the month," however they make you get one after the 4th. Maintenance requests aren't ever completed. I turned in a few work orders the week I moved in and they still haven't been done. Management (Eric) has no idea what their doing, they don't know leasing, and I'm extremely disappointed with Sterling University Glen/Bradford Place.
