I lived in this complex and have mixed reviews. Overall it was a nice place and the amenities (gym, tanning, pool, etc) were great. One huge issue I had was with the energy bill, they have an average cost estimate that is EXTREMELY off according to my experience and Duke energy's history. From my experience (1 bed, 1 person who works 40 hrs a week) and Duke's history, you can expect energy bills of $130 per month year round. I now live in a 3 bedroom, all electric home and my energy bill hasnt increased so obviously something is wrong there. Additionally, they are constantly finding new reasons to come into your apartment to do work. Yes, they give you a day or 2 notice but they always leave a mess behind when they're done. Otherwise, it was a nice, fairly quiet community. Safety is not an issue, the staff is friendly and it wasnt a bad place to live.
