Nice place, but I regret moving here
This apartment complex is a pleasant place to live, with one HUGE caveat. First, the good: The staff is friendly, the property is nice, the apartments are in good condition, the community is quiet and feels safe. The bad: The internet is a joke! You are forced to use Bloom Broadband, which is a owned by the company that runs the apartment. The "fastest" option is 3mb/s, which is comparable to DSL. 3mb/s is slow to begin with, but you would be lucky to ever see those speeds here. My download speed during the afternoon/evening is about 0.2mb/s (a bit faster than dial up from 20 years ago). Upload speeds are about 0.3mb/s. In the middle of the night, or early in the day when people are at work, the speed gets up to about 2mb/s, which is barely adequate. Forget about any kind of audio or video streaming. Forget about uploading pictures or videos. Forget about downloading any decently sized file. If you don't rely on internet usage at all, this is a great place to live. But if you use the internet for anything other than checking email, you should find another place to live.Share This Review
