Just to start out, I posted this on Ashley Pointe's Facebook page yesterday (9/20/2016) just after this incident and this morning, that post has been removed. Clearly, they are trying to protect their awful leasing agent. My husband and I came by to check out Ashley Pointe Apartments and I was very disappointed in the leasing agent. He wasn't friendly at all, just seemed like he wanted us out of there as soon as possible. He didn't ask our names, where we worked, anything. He didn't engage in even a tiny bit of small talk. He just immediately jumped in his SUV and had us follow him to the apartment. He flew through the property, almost running someone down along the way (I was appalled), and left his car running while we looked at the apartment. He didn't show any features off, didn't really talk at all, it was like he just assumed we wouldn't want the apartment and thus was treating us poorly. When we were done perusing the apartment, he again drove like a maniac through the property back to the office. We did take applications just in case we changed our minds but we both know the truth - this experience left a lasting impression and unfortunately, Ashley Pointe is now off our list for good. I also want to mention that the appliances in the apartment we were shown were very outdated and the apartment itself was just OK for the price and location. We did not get to see any amenities since the leasing agent rushed us out the door and didn't talk about anything at all.

    We apologize that you felt as if you were not taken care of during your visit to Ashley Pointe. I was in the office when you were leaving and thought you sounded happy about the apartment and was pleased to see you took an application. If you had a concern, I would have been more than happy to speak with you about it at the time. When I asked the leasing consultant about how the tour went after you left, he said you seemed to like the apartment and loved the fact that it had the extra window and your cat would enjoy looking outside.
