I have lived in Cross Lake Apartments for a little over 6 months, and have had numerous conversations with management and a couple of the grounds keepers. The office manager has always treated me with respect and responded to my requests and complaints promptly. For example, I had some issues with the tenants who lived above me and everytime I reported them management would call or visit them in person to discuss the matter. After 3 or 4 complaints, they were evicted. FYI...never a good idea to have 6 people live in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor especially if you love to scream the F-word and can't control you children...the people living below you will get irritated. The manager did exactly what a good manager should do and kicked them out. Management is awesome and gets an A Some of the other reviews I read mentioned spiders and ants...Wow! the ants are out of control and there are more spiders than I'd like to see, but when they come back the manager sends SwatPest over and they kill everything for 2-3 months and the cycle repeats itself. At least they respond quickly. And, yes, like the reviewers before me said, the apartments do need new windows. On windy days, my blinds blow around and that is with closed windows. Summary...poor insulation between 1st and 2nd floor apartments, good insulation between side-to-side units...bug problems, and great management. Seriously, if you have a problem, management will look into it.
