We have lived at Devonshire place apartments for about a year now. The apartments are good for their value but don't expect anything spectacular.
We lived in a 1 bedroom apartment. My apartment was on the first floor (I think all 1 bedroom apartments are on the first floor). Liked that I got a $10 rent reduction for being a student. Never had any problem parking (technically, the apartment complex itself doesn't have much parking but residents are allowed to park in the mall parking lot right across the street- which provides ample parking). As far as maintenance and management, we've never had any issues that needed dealt with by them. The living room and bedroom are decent sized for a 1 bedroom.
A couple times the parking lot was noisy and we could hear our above neighbors (there are town homes above us), but I have yet to find an apartment complex that didn't have this problem.
That being said, the kitchen and bathroom are small. Also, the 1 bedroom apartments don't have washer and dryers (the 2 bedrooms do). They have an on- site laundry facility but the washers are small and expensive. The painting in the apartment is kind of messy so it's uneven and cracks.
Like I said nothing spectacular but otherwise OK.
