I lived at this complex for about 3 years and, for the most part, Lakeshore is a pretty good place to call home. Below are my list of highlights / lowlights of the place. Here are the highlights: - Excellent view - especially in the morning with the sun "rising" out of the lake. It's really pretty. Also, you can fish out of the lake. - Excellent staff - in my experience dealing with the staff, they have all been really nice and they took care of issues very promptly. Here are the lowlights: - Parking can definitely be an issue at times, in terms of both space and the layout of the lot. If you have a larger vehicle, you may have trouble at the parking spots near the bends. - Construction - This is a relative new facility but some of the materials used are kind of "junky," especially when you contrast it with some of the nicer features in the apartment. Also, two-way switches aren't always wired correctly. - Neighbors - For the most part, everyone is really nice but there are definitely some who can get loud and obnoxious. I don't think it's any worse than most apartment complex. Other facts: - If your apartment is close to the lake, you can expect critters to approach your unit such as birds, Canadian geese, spiders, etc... - The complex is really pet friendly so you can expect to see lots of dogs around. Alright, I think that about sums it up. There's a lot of more amenities that's pretty nice but, at least to me, they are not the strong point of the place. Overall, it's a pretty good place but a little bit on the expensive side. I would recommend this place with a slight reservation.
