I lived there from Aug 05 to Aug 09. I started in a two bedroom downstairs unit then went to a second floor one bedroom unit. The downstairs one was like a cave no sunlight only two windows in the livings room. It was ok nothing spectacular. The second floor 1 bedroom was nice but i had a good view. The cops are usually out there once or twice a week for various domestic disturbances and parties. Management is ok they'll work with you and mantience is pretty good, the man. dude are alright guys. The walls are paper thin and any upstairs neighbor weighing more than 200 pounds is gonna drive you crazy walking on you ceiling. When I first moved there the neighborhood was quiet but when i moved in Aug 09 kids runnin around everywhere and getto neighbors were kinda the norm. The water was free but now they charge 10 extra a month per person really weak. I used the pool often but never swam in it I know the kids pee in it. The best part of living there was the goodwill after hours drop off you can walk over there and get some pretty good loot on the hush hush. The property gets a C , cost gets a D-, and location gets an A. Evansville got to expensive to rent 440 a month 1 bedroom! Moved to Indy and got a very similar apartment for 330 a month and had a plethora to choose from. I loved Evansville but it's getto city tryin to a large city with to many wanna be thugs, hicks, and now --------. Weird racial make up. Oh yeah the parking is terrible get home early or your parkin in another area code.
