We found out the property was bought 3 days before our wedding (10/20/10). We were given a piece of paper stating the property was being turned into Section 42 housing and that if you made over a certain amount of money a year, you would have to find someone else to live. They are kicking out the people who pay their rent and trying to get as much government grant funds so they can to build a glorified meth lab in a good part of town. I am just glad they have a police sector next door. I phoned the 'relocation' person who told me we had 30 days to vacate. 30 days from that day was Christmas day. They have since come to their senses a little, allowing us to stay through March. They are not providing any moving assistance at all to those they are forcing out. They have turned the buildings into gutted out bomb shelters with loud maintenance crews entering the buildings by 8 during the weekdays and even earlier on weekends. They are dirty, loud and rude. The management held 'meetings' while we were on our honeymoon, but apparently providing no real answers or assistance to those they were discriminating against. I feel they should have done a better job at informing everyone of the changes. I feel they should provide more for the people they are FORCING out of their homes. I am going to send this message to as many apartment websites as I can to try to steer them clear of this place.
