Round Barn Manor Apartments
Resident · 2010 - 2013
PARKING - The lease states one car per apartment in the front row. Residents do not follow the rule and the leasing staff does not enforce the rule. This creates parking issues for the residents. NOISE - Neighbors can be heard through the duct vents in the hall utility closet and living room return air vent. The floors are concrete; helping with sound. You can hear your neighbors voices and foot traffic while using the shared hallway, as well as doors closing/opening. Overall, the quietest (no parties) community I have lived. GROUNDS - Maintenance picks up trash daily. Oil from leaking cars makes the community look poor. Landscaping is updated and maintained. SAFETY - The outdoor lighting was replaced, however there are not enough lights and the lights are not bright enough. CONSTRUCTION - The fixtures are 1980s but functional. The patio doors and windows are in need of replacement. Heating, layout and design is efficient. MAINTENANCE - Residents have their apartment inspected once or twice a year. Maintenance notes repairs needed and the repairs are scheduled. STAFF - Not always professional, the staff smokes at the outside entrance of the office, one staff member becomes angry with raising voice levels. Their knowledge is limited. They do remember your name and are probably giving your their personal best level of quality and customer service. OVERALL - Great apartment only drawback is you deal with neighbors who fail to acknowledge it is a shared living space.
