I am a freshman at Abignton (meaning I am new-just moved here Oct. 2013). In the beginning, communicating some information was rocky. The apartment was presented nicely upon my move-in, but I could tell the paint in the cabinets and drawers were not fully dry, the carpet was hard, and in the bathroom, the sink base door was horrible in sight, so I had to cover it. The maintenance are not friendly or considerate. There was a time, I asked for something to be done and I was told it would be taking care of and it was never reported to the maintenance. It was something small, but I took care of it myself. The welcome gift was great! better than I have ever experienced. The rent price is good - but you do have to pay for everything - like if you were living in a house. I am thankful, because the building I am in is very quiet. The community is quiet, no problem there - hopefully it will continue in the summer. There are big well holes in the area, so you have to be careful going in and out of the complex. I will say the 1 bedroom apartments are designed nicely, best I have ever experienced at any other apartments. Importantly, the office staff is very friendly. They are a good example of customer service. If you are standing to wait your turn, they acknowledge you. I have not experience rudeness, disrespect, or any of the like. The office staff are professional and they know how to operate the office properly. J. Crowe
