Aspen Lake's Apartment Homes
Resident · 2013
Recently moved in and while meeting with the staff they assured me the newer complexes are divided with cement footing to prevent noise. WRONG - I can't tell you how many times per night I hear my neighbor walking back and forth in the middle of the night, vacuming at all hours of the night and slamming doors. Additionally the walls are paper thin - you can hear people and kids out in the hallway, through the vents - I will never live in an apartment complex again and I can't wait for my lease to be up. Additionally, if you want peace and quiet just look around. Nothing is located near by. Kroger is about as good as it gets until you drive about 15 mins away to find some stores. I feel as though I live in a retirement village. It is clean, new, and well maintained. The gym is never busy however, unless you enjoy living in the middle of nowhere I would recommend a location downtown or further north if you want any type of social life. I would also recommend that they do something about the noise level...I'm so shocked at how loud neighbors above can be just walking around in the evening or through the vents. WOW!
