I'm sorry that you're unhappy with the renovations happening at Columns. As our construction crews have made it through the apartments we have been made aware of plumbing issues. The issues include broken hot water lines in first floor units (slab leaks), water heaters that have failed due to age and demand, and main water lines on the exterior of the property. Due to the age of the community, the pipes have reached an age where they are failing and we must replace/repair them. The water heaters at the property appear to be aged. Therefore, we have had several that have failed and instead of repairing, we took the proactive approach to replace them. When we replaced the water heaters we had to shut the water off, this caused a massive strain on the pipes causing several to break. To speed up the process we have made arrangements with three plumbing companies. They are on call and ready should further issues arise. The renovations include new light fixtures, granite, stainless appliances and much more. I am confident that when all the renovations are complete you'll be very pleased with the overall improvement of the community. Thank you for your positive feedback and letting us know what areas need improvement. We are constantly striving to improve everyone's quality of living here at Columns of Castleton. We wanted to note that most of our one bedroom apartments are 824 sq. ft. We only have a couple of the large 1000 sq ft. one bedrooms and the floor plan is totally different. Our smaller one bedroom has a much larger kitchen and bath. Also, the washer & dryers are right in the common hall for your convenience.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay here at Columns of Castleton. We do require all residents to give a 60 day notice per their lease. Our goal is to address every maintenance request within a 24 hour period. In addition, we have a pest control company here every Wednesday for our residents to address issues beyond our maintenance staffs expertise. We are sorry to see you go.

I rented a one bedroom apartment from November 2012 thru April 2014. Accomodations were safe and comfortable.
