Resident 2011 - 2012 Not Recommended

CORE Riverbend is old property that is poorly maintained. The apartments have very old and shotty appliances and the cupboards and shelves are old as well. The balcony deck is composed of old rotting pitted wood. You can hear everyone walking above upstairs as the walls are thin and the area has become more unsafe and dangerous after the housing bubble burst and more people are moving towards renting. When I was in the front office, there was simultaneously another tenant complaining about her apartment getting broken into. Several cars have been broken into while I was living here. Stay away from this complex. It is not worth the money and DO NOT EXPECT to get any type of maintenance done while you are living here. In the summertime a few years ago a friend of mine went 3 weeks before his a/c unit was fixed. I don't know what they pay their maintenance employees to do, but they don't fix anything. Expect to fix minor issues yourself. Repeated calls will not help issues. The office employees are equally as worthless as the maintenance employees (close tie). If the apartments do not fix issues, call the Marion County Health Department (317)221-3196 [they cover residential issues], Indiana State Board of Health @ (317) 233-1325 or their corporate office @(866)931-3444
