While living in my apartment for a year, the dishwasher never cleaned a dish and leaked all over the floor. No effort was made to make things right of course. I was told it was a 'perk' to have a diswasher not a necessity. I ended up throwing alot of my glasses away because I couldn't get the lime deposit off of many of them (using CLR and Lime-A-Way). My roommate's car was broken into and then another tennant jeep was broken into 3 weeks later. Then there was the Memorial day brawl/shoot out which took place in the parking lot which resulted in about 6 police cars for over 2 hours outside my balcony and then there's my ultimate favorite. The water heater catching on fire do to the condensation from the lines to the AC dripping down onto the electrical panel of the water heater! When maintenance (which I thought to be pretty cool, unlike mgmt) arrived said, "Yeah, it's been happenin alot lately. 2 days later I recieved a notice about the rent going up and asking me to resign my lease....I did not. Also the smell of urination in the hallway. Trust me, the apartments aren't real bad, but what you have to put up with is definitely NOT worth it!!!!
