Hunters Run Apartments
Resident · 2012
I lived in Hunters Run for two years. The first year was exceptional.Living in apartments you're going to expect that you will have neighbors that are loud and so on and so forth but besides that it was cool and I felt safe.Close to the end of my first year it starting getting bad. There was new office staff it seemed like every time I paid my rent. It seemed they were letting anybody and everybody move in. I asked the office staff as well as the maintenance staff to change the street lights outside where you park your cars because by the time I got home it was always dark I could never see my surrondings. I was a victim of robbery by two young men and I wanted to break my lease with no pentalties. They wouldn't let me and was very careless. I called corperate with accurate dates, and detailing about all the situations I had here, as well as the robbery, and a certain staff memeber that works at Hunters Run that was always inappropriate with tenants that lived here including me. They let me break my lease and refunded my money from the previous month. Its unfortunate that the economy is the way it is, because a lot of the apartments that have high crime rate are not even affordable. To me Hunters Run was too high with the poor service they gave you. And you were paying more to get things replaced because of the constant break ins they had at the apartments. Now I must say nowhere is really safe and thats the God's honest truth but the office staff where ever you live will make a difference. My advice to anyone GET RENTERS INSURANCE... and if there are constant problems with where you reside at MAKE SURE YOU DOCUMENT EVERYTHING IN DETAIL AND/OR TAKE PICURES OF DAMAGES!!!!!
