I don't work for the building, although one of my roommates does. In the nine months I've lived here, I've never found them to be anything but excellent. The maintenance staff is fantastic - our bathtub needed to be refinished, and it was done within a week. The security is phenomenal - our cars have not been disturbed within the gated parking lot the entire time we've been here, and I've never seen anyone in the living area who didn't belong there. The front desk staff is (for the most part) kind, considerate, and helpful. And parking is very good - only on days in which they have events is it difficult to find parking, and those are rare. My apartment is much larger than my old one at a different location, and was very clean when I moved in. The appliances are all clean and in good working order. The common areas are kept almost obsessively clean, and the only time they've been dirty (that I can recall) was when they were renovating the courtyard. Even then, they took steps to ensure that the mess was kept contained. All in all, I've only had two problems with the Marott. One is that, when I moved in, there was still the scent left over from the cat that had lived here before me. Second, there is a front desk worker who is slightly testy at times - but the person in question usually doesn't bother me. I recommend that you live here. If you think that this beautiful building with a lot of history is right for you, it probably is.
