I sit here in tears....barely able to stand this unit. I just killed another ROACH. I have been here now for 25 days, and I have seen ROACHES 20 of those days. Dispite the bait laid, there is still a major problem/infestation. I strongly feel that the apartment's efforts are futile, simply managing the problem versus solving it. So uncomfortable in what should be my home, I contacted the Department of Health. I woke up to a ROACH crawling on me...needless to say my nerves are shot! The MCHS came and found code violations & Roaches (dead & alive). When the County rep left, I found yet another MATURE ROACH! How can apartments be rented with known pest issues? Set up for failure, taking my cash knowing I would rather invest in a pest free community. The excuse..."We can control them when people move in and out"...yet I am sure there is enough profit available to invest in treatments that will actually fix the issue. I never expected this from Nora Pines. I am a professional adult, with several degrees. I have never lived with pests. It is like I am trapped in the gates of hell to face the eternal damnation that is my 12mo lease. I barely recieve an answer when I call the office, and voicemails are futile. I want you all to know this, so to make an informed decision before actually signing the lease.
