As a single mother I moved to this wonderful North side location because it appeared to offer a peaceful & safe community & good schools for a price that I could afford. However, this "diamond in the rough" has quickly changed to "rough in the diamond." The kids are horrible. None of the parents are home at night. I work from 8-5, so I am there. I have video of an incident between 2 teenage girls fighting. There were at least 50 teen-agers following the girls. The fight took place in front of my town home. There was even a mother egging her daughter on to fight more, just to top it off. There is no security, no curfew, and these people definitely have no regards to their neighbors. You would think these people thought they lived in the country somewhere. The kids play in the street and will not move for cars. The parents should be ashamed of themselves and if CPS made a surprise visit, there would be a lot of kid-less people. Another thing, the other reviews say the management team changes like the weather. This is true. I personally have seen 6 property managers in 3yrs. Maintenance team is great, there just isn't enough of them. The pool is NEVER open, so much so I bought a YMCA pass. Our back patios were once private with fences. They've torn those down to expose everyone's junk and now there really is no privacy. Ther have been 3 shootings in 3yrs that I am aware of. To say something nice, my stuff has never been broken in to, vandelized, and/or stolen. The apartments are huge for what you pay but your neighbors will be hidious and straight ------. Yes I said that.
