Well, last year I wrote a favorable review of Park Central North. (See my review posted on 9/17/10.) Now I must go back to saying that this is NOT a good place to be, especially in light of what you get for the rental costs. Several months ago the upper management folks (and the off-site, invisible, unknown owner!) of Park Central North FIRED our excellent, hard-working, successful, well-liked, and caring on-site manager! Now the place is TERRIBLE, especially in regard to the slow MAINTENANCE! The poor level of maintenance care and service is not due to the maintenance workers themselves, for they seem to work hard, but without enough help! And management at the regional level is apparently either (a) ineffective, (b) incompetent or (c) willingly deceptive (or, perhaps, (d) all of the above)! Several years ago, this place used to be a good place. Then, it became a bad place. Then, it was a good place again. Now it is a bad place AGAIN! Park Central North has constructed its own credibility problem. The blame for the current situation apparently (and ultimately) lies with the present OWNER--wherever he/she/it may be!!! Think very hard before you consider renting an apartment here, for it is currently not work the aggravation.
