Please note that I do like my apartment, but repairs do take a looong time to happen. I had a leak that saturated the whole entryway of my apt. with water pooling. I called probably three times before maintenance came to take care of it. After about a week the carpet got all moldy. Then it took about another week for them to come clean up the mess (clean carpet,etc.). Small repairs, forget it. Just go to the office to pick up filters and light bulbs, because they will never be out to fix it.
It is true that the workout eqipment is crap. When I first moved in, it was free to work out. Because of the equipment getting broken or worn down, they decided to close and get the situation fixed. The room now is nicer, but the eqipment is still the same crappy stuff. Please note that it is well past the stated 30 days for the replacement equipment. Now you just have to pay a fee to work out on the same crappy stuff.
The stuff about the pool is true too. The first year I lived here it was closed for almost the entire summer. Many residents were upset, so they said improvements were being made, but the pool was still closed a bit this summer, and closes at a rediculous hour.
I think the worst thing about the apartments is the laundry room though. It is always trashed. Yes, we need to take personal responsibility and pick up after ourselves, but it is filthy and in disrepair. We defiitly need a houskeeper or something to clean common areas like this.
I guess that's about it. Take it for what it's worth. I still think that rent is cheap, but that's pretty much the only thing keeping me here. P.S. They tow you car for anthing.
