The wonderful view onto the city, the low prices, and the pet policy is what drew me to Sherwood Tower. It was great at first and slowly it all seemed to fall apart. At first, I had mice. Then came the cockroaches... which bothered me the most. And they are not regular cockroaches, they are a good 6 inches long. Then- the elevator. There are 2 elevators for 9 floors. One elevator started stopping abruptly at random floors, so if you live on a higher floor it might take you a while to get there. It also decided to wait about 45 seconds to close... also an annoyance. They finally had to repair the elevator once it finally broke down and it was well past the expiration date to be checked. Therefore, if the other elevator was busy and you're in a hurry... you have to walk the stairs to your apartment whether that be the 2nd floor or 9th floor- not fun. I would not recommend living here unless you are a fan of bugs and inconvenience.
