South Haven Village

I love living at South Haven and I always have. I have been here since they opened and love my apartment too much to move. I think bottom line, maintenance gets done, the community looks nice, it is quiet, convenient, nice staff and it is just well kept overall. They don't put up with any stuff when it comes to people listening to music loud or disturbing other people that live here. With the way most apartments with a couple hundred or more apartments you get noise, traffic and no individual attention. With the size of South Haven it's easy to get to know your neighbors and so there is more respect for one another. It's also good that they are in a price-range that not just anyone can afford. (And to complaints about the price, they tell you that up front and you get what you pay for, try finding another complex without neighbors above you, with an attached garage, with the upkeep and care) I have weathered the storm here through previous companies that took over South Haven and I'll say that I have been impressed with the newest one. They actually respond to complaints and enforce their policies which I appreciate as a long-term resident. I have lived in some other places that seemed nice at move-in and turned out to be a nightmare. That makes me appreciate this place so much more. I think if anyone has problems living here they should tell the manager so that their problem can be solved. And I don't think they can have too many empty apartments because my mother-in-law is on the waiting list.
