Hello, Thank-you for your email. I do apologize that your experience has not been a good one. Unfortunately there were 2 incidents at the property where 2 good people did lose their lives. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with them and their families. Both were very special people and are missed. Hello, Thank-you for your feedback. We did a tremendous amount of work at the community and greatly improved it from what it was in the past. I am not aware of any food business that will not deliver to the community. I do appreciate your comments. Thanks, Ken
Kay, Thank-you for your comments. I am sorry to hear your experience was not good. I am not aware of any vehicles that park here that are not residents. We have a towing company that monitors the parking areas on a very regular basis and they do look for vehicles that have not moved, have expired plates or are in poor condition. These types of vehicles will be towed. While there have been a few unfortunate incidents, the Southport area prides itself in the low crime rate compared to most other areas in Indianapolis. We work directly with the police department and encourage all of our residents to report any crimes or odd behavior directly to the police department. Thanks, Ken
Hello, I am sorry to hear about your experience. We do have normal office hours and several ways to pay your rent including paying by credit card, mailing a check/money order, dropping it by the office, and doing direct withdrawal from your checking account. We also give a several day grace period until any fees are charged. Rent is due on the 1st of every month and no extra fees are charged for a few days per the lease agreement. Thanks, Ken

We now have an outstanding office staff who have all been with us for quite some time and our management has several decades of experience at the community. We have also completed a very large restoration project at the community and have improved it greatly. Thanks, Ken
Hello, I am sorry to hear about your experience and the issue you had with your basement. I am not sure about the office phone not working as we have had the same number for several years. Perhaps there was some sort of outage at the time. We now offer preferred parking for our residents so they can choose a space close to their home if they would like. Thanks, Ken

Hello, I am sorry to hear about your experiences. Our intentions are certainly not to mislead anyone. When it comes to moving out, we do follow the lease and what it says about fees. We have a good neighbor policy in which we expect everyone to act appropriately while living at our community. If you see or hear inappropriate illegal acts, we certainly want you to call the police and we will work with them to solve the problem. Hello, Thank-you for your feedback. While I have no knowledge of what happened decades ago, I certainly sympathize with your experiences. My company purchased this property in May of 2015. We have spent a tremendous amount of money in renovating this community and it looks so much better that it did previously to us purchasing it. We are currently renovating the apartments and they look so much better. We have a much more strict screening process for our new residents and we want good neighbors. Thanks, Ken
I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with your heat. We are sending the maintenance supervisor over to your apartment this morning to check the work that has been done. Also, could you call the office and let us know of any pests that you may be seeing in your apartment. We have a pest control company that comes out every Friday and I have added you to our list for this Friday 2/6/15. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
