I've had a great experience here at White River for the past few years. I am relocating to another city or else I would've kept living here. Good: -My favorite part of living here was the staff. They were so welcoming and accommodating ever since my first visit. They always answered my requests promptly and accurately, and I don't feel like they're out for my money. -Great proximity to many colleges, stores, downtown, etc. -Community is well-kept, and the maintenance manager is wonderful- very prompt and friendly. -My neighbors are all very nice and courteous- most are in 20s & 30s -Good alarm system Bad: -Hard to reach the office by phone -Apartment community is safe, but once you hit 38th street it turns south. I hated not feeling safe when doing anything nearby, like grocery shopping. I recommend traveling a little farther to a safer area to run errands. Last year there was a car break-in in my lot, but someone left tier computer in plain sight. -appliances and cabinets are dated, but I've never had any problems with them. -yes, walls are thin but it's not something I was bothered by, and i expect that -the gate is not super protective, but nonetheless it's nice to have -workout room is pretty small and cramped but it has your basic equipment
