I've lived at Residence at White River for just over 2 years now. I really love it here! When my friends and family come to visit they're often surprised - no one knows this quiet, cozy complex is tucked away in a wooded area along the white river. I feel very safe here (it's gated, away from street traffic, and comes with an entry alarm), the staff is very pleasant and responsive (I've never had to wait more than a day for assistance with an issue), and they have an emergency hotline. There is new management and they have been implementing improvements recently; larger gym area, cane stops for the blind, plaques regarding occupancy limits on balconies - they are taking a good place and making it better. The price is reasonable for the comfort of living 5 miles from downtown and right along 65 for ease of commuting. They also have a small gym and private pool. Packages are conveniently received at the office, so they are not left outside your door. I love the in-unit laundry! Could never do without! Recommendation: Splurge on a carport or garage for the guaranteed parking space. If you come home very late the place is often heavy with cars. They do try to curb this by requiring visitors passes. The apartments are concrete and very well insulated, but I have had to submit some noise complaints in the past when I had a rowdy neighbor. Complaints are received very well and addressed within a few days with the apartment. The staff wants you to be happy and comfortable.
