One major concern is that most people don't know what a cooperative is and their responsibilities to living in it. When I see postings that implies "management" is making huge profits by not either doing or not doing things that one individual does not like, it speaks greatly about that person's understanings. I have commented on people who think they can "blackmail" the cooperative to allow them to do things that noone else is allowed to do. When they mess up, or their children, or that members of their household are arrested for felonies or drug dealings, they are out of here. For them to try to stick one on the cooperative is amazing. One person who posted here a number of years ago was a teenager who was caught in violation of community rules. She posted that this was the worse place to live. However, it obviously was not the opinion of the other members of the cooperative nor that of her parent, as that household still lives here. And as a side note, that problem household was offer to leave, breaking their lease, if they really thought it was such a terrible place to live. Well the family has chosen not to move. I guess it is not exaxtly what this immature child had thought after all. And one last note, our agressive stand against drug dealers and users, felons, and sex abusers seem to have the endorsement of the cooperative AND the Indianapolis Police Department.
