I stayed at Waterford Place for about 3 years and I really enjoyed it, much better than the previous place I stayed at with a roommate (Sandstone Court). The noise isolation was much better even though you can still hear people walking in the hallway if they are close or stomping. If you live in Greenwood before, you'll also find it to be at a convenient location, 5 min. to the mall and Wal-Mart, there are all kinds of restaurants to pick from, 15-20 min. to downtown, IUPUI, and the airport. Even though the appliances are kind of dated, but they always worked fine for me except I was having problem with the bathroom sink faucet dripping before I moved for my new job. By the way, if you enjoy fishing and tennis, you'll probably like Waterford as well. The lakes have been there for awhile so there are some big fish in there, and I have never failed to pull a few 4-5lb largemouths out there every year. They also repaved the tennis court! I used have that fenced-in court all to myself so I can practice serves with a bucket of balls. Other than that, parking is usually ok, as long as no visitor decide to park in your spot instead of the overflow which would be the hosts fault for not telling them where to park, and I've always have positive experience with the staffs. Maintenance guys are nice and usually come fix your problem pretty quickly, they are always courteous to me, and Steve will always stay and chat for awhile. Office wise, most of the ladies are friendly, but my favorite will still have to be Jenni. She was the one who helped me move in as a college student, and she's always treated me nice and professionally. My only gripe would be the how the rent went up through the years--the rent went up approximately $10-$15 each year, otherwise, I really don't have much to complain about. I would recommend you take a look at the apartments if you are planning on staying in the area; while it is not for everyone, such as those who are looking for parties and a lot of social events (I'm not) and the community is mostly young adults, young parents, retirees, and a few college students. But if you are like me who enjoys having privacy and room to yourself (duh, of course you can go befriend your neighbors if you are a more social person lol) it should fits the bill well.
