I've lived in a townhouse here since December, and could not be happier that my lease is ending. The first night we were here, there were gunshots originating from 4-5 doors down...welcome to the neighborhood. This is not the last time our night was interrupted by police looking for someone (they blocked off our parking spots in July while arresting someone). I have spent countless nights trying to drown out/ ignore the screaming matches outside of my window. Not to mention the 2 break-ins since I moved. I know that the neighborhood does not control these people, but they do nothing for what is in their control either. Customer service is terrible. I have stopped by the office more than once between 10-6, only to find a locked door. In July, we were told that our unit had bedbugs from the unit connected to ours. We had to move everything and heat our place to ~400 degrees (when it was 100 outside). We had to wash EVERYTHING, which cost us over $100. Management would not offer us so much as an apology. The original family moved out, and then three families moved in an out within 4 months because the place was filthy and STILL HAD BUGS. Management is not very flexible, either. We were accidentally short $1 on rent one month, and received a termination notice. Not even so much as a courtesy reminder. I do have a few friendly neighbors, but overall the complex is loud, unsafe, and poorly run.
