Lighthouse at Pebble Creek
Prospective Resident • 2017 Not Recommended
This is a nice property with terrible management. The leasing manager and landlord set up an application that essentially says if you have any credit issues, you may owe more deposit. Once the application fee is paid, they go ahead and tell you that having debt or a new job are not just reasons to pay more deposit - they are reasons they flat out deny you. I have a suspected hunch that these denials are actually based on prospective tenants they feel they can make a buck off of - rope you in, take the 45 dollars, and then deny you for things like "having debt" or "having a new job." These are vague, strange, and nebulous descriptions that most Americans face in their day to day lives and I am not sure how someone with a little bit of debt who just moved to the area would ever get an apartment if these are the standards. Again, these are not written on the application. Absolutely ridiculous. This is my second time applying in a year. I was denied one year ago for working a temporary to permanent position. Ironically, I just left the temporary job which had become permanent to find another higher paying job, but now I am also denied for that this year around. You can't win with Lighthouse's management and terms.
