At first, I really liked our apartment. The walk in closet had plenty of storage and enough room to fit a mattress. Parking was great. I never had trouble parking close to where I live and it was well lit. The continental breakfast is really nice. However, there quite a number of problems. There was always giant beetles coming in and out of the place (these things were about the size of paper clip and were difficult to kill). They will spray when requested, but a couple of weeks later, they'll come back.
Now me and my fiance have never smoked. The place, probably due to the vents always smell like it. The location is also next to a corn field. If you are sensitive to pesticides(like me, of course I didn't know till I wouldn't stop coughing weeks on end) you may not want to live there. The worst offender is the dish washer. Water doesn't drain right and thus giving a rather stagnant odor. Even the bottom of it was covered with yellow stuff that despite scrubbing, would not come off. It is sickening.
The carpet is really cheap. Every time you rub it, it pulls off. Finally, the fan in the bathroom is cheap and doesn't work. It never pulls enough moisture out to prevent mold.
Oh and if you ever think of having a deposit, you can kiss half of it goodbye. They will use half of it to clean your carpet even if you did it yourself. I don't recommend this place at all.
