Edison Pointe Apartments

Not the worst place to live, but I'm currently looking for something cheaper and better maintained. The apartments are in a very good location, near shopping and resteraunts as well as Notre Dame (good if you're a student). But there isn't a direct bus line, and since it's on a busy street, biking can be a little dangerous. Main complaint is the noise. College kids throw parties every now and then and like to play loud techno music all through the night, smoke and drink beer outside near the pond (and leave bottles and cigarettes all over the ground outside), and run through the hallways. The parties aren't every weekend, but it's still annoying when they do happen. In addition to the parties, the grounds are not well-maintained. There are potholes everywhere, the hallways get messy, and the doors to our apartment units are really beat up. We heard about some vandalism in the area, and we've seen a lot of flat tires and such, but we haven't had that experience. Overall, not a terrible place to live, but there are probably a better deals if one doesn't mind being further away from shopping and the university.
