Some of the buildings arent up to code. Exhaust fans are vented to the rafters instead of outside. (I have a voicemail from maintenance confirming that.) Our neighbor was a heavy smoker and every time our air or heat came on it would drawn herSee More >

They need cameras. People let their dogs poop wherever. The maintenance is TERRIBLE! Our water tank went out and flooded the living room and they cut the padding but never fixed it so it was uneven for 99% of the time we lived there.

I love living here, staff is friendly and maintenance is on top of any work order submitted. Yes these are a little bit older buildings but they have been working on renovations. Pond is wonderful, they restock the pond with fish every year and isSee More >

Honestly, I thought I was going to love this place, but that's not the way it turned out. The walls in these apartments are so thin you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. The buildings are very old. You can smell whatever someone inSee More >

Me and my family like it here. We like to fish and feed the ducks. The buildings are older, but that gives it character. Maintenance will get things done, depending on what's wrong..they are busy but do take care of things eventually. I always tellSee More >

Wow, where to start? Let's get the one positive thing out of the way first. They have a lovely looking pond, with a fountain, ducks, and a gazebo on the property. It's a bit sketchy if you want to actually walk around it (the treesSee More >

Pretty place with nice grounds and apartment layouts, but the buildings are poorly maintained. Infestations of ants and earwigs are bad in the summer, as in you might find them in your bed with you. The exterminator is prone to lying about whether he's comeSee More >

I have lived at Colonial Crest for a few months now. Yes, there are problems with getting maintenance done, but you cannot blame the maintenance people, because they are constantly working, cleaning, and taking care of other things. The buildings are old, so old buildingsSee More >

After living there over 6 years I have a good grasp on how things work here. They cut maintenance staff by 80% a couple years ago so nothing ever gets done. Don't even count on the once a year air filter change you would seeSee More >

Moved to Muncie in December of 2010 and have lived at Colonial Crest since then. I've visited friends' apartments, and I have to say that in terms of size, you definitely get you money's worth at Colonial Crest. The living room is very large, asSee More >

I have had few issues since moving in. My neighbors are very nice. The ladies in the office have been helpful and polite. It would be nice if others would clean up after their dogs.

My boyfriend and I were looking into renting an apartment here. When we went in to turn in our applications, they were very condescending and were already having conflicting stories between office personnel. While being similarly priced to other apartments closer to campus, some of theseSee More >

At first my experience here was really positive. The apartments are a decent size and the washing machines outside are nice. For your average apartment experience its not bad (aka, buy a house if you can) There are definitely some downsides: - maintenance does suck.See More >
