We lived on the first floor and the apartment was pretty chilly, and honestly we turned the air on, MAYBE 10 times the whole summer, it was really nice and we saved money on electric. The highest our bill was in the winter for electric was $90, which is great, considering the apartment is total electric. I work from home and I have to say that the apartment complex really is quiet. We've never had bad or loud neighbors. The only bad thing was we did have a mouse (but we were right next to the woods) and our carpet was really old. However, they did offer us an apartment on the second floor with brand new carpet, but we turned that down for convenience. Our kitchen was updated, but not many of them are. I called maintaince once to change our air filter in the apt, and they were there the next day, first thing at 9am. I was pleasantly suprised. All in all, it was a good home to us for the year and very affordable. We since moved to indy, where it is much louder and a lot more expensive. I read the reviews before we moved in and I was really nervous about management but they were always really nice when we came in.
