At first my experience here was really positive. The apartments are a decent size and the washing machines outside are nice. For your average apartment experience its not bad (aka, buy a house if you can) There are definitely some downsides:
- maintenance does suck. It takes them forever to fix anything.
- Its great that they allow pets, which is one of the reasons we picked them, but having yappy neighbor dogs is not cool. Also the dog poo outside is disgusting. They post signs everywhere about these things but then don't do anything about it.
- If you don't want to sign a lease for a whole year they don't care about you, even if you have been a good tenant. I lived here for a year and paid my rent on time, but when I just wanted three more months they screwed me on the contract. They wouldn't even talk about a deal.
- The manager LIED about the electric bill. It comes up to $150 in the winter, not running an excessive amount of heat. He said it was never more than $60. He said we must be running too many appliances when I complained about this. We are not running many appliances, and keep the heat on 68.
