No parking for visitors. Brown recluse problem. Moved out prior to summer this year because they wouldn't fix the faulty a/c which caused a $200 dollar gas/electric bill for 3 months in a row last year. For 2 years prior, the bill had never been higher than $120. A neighbor had to threaten the owner with police action for animal cruelty because he wouldn't replace their non-working a/c and the temperature was reaching 90 degrees in their apartment. The owner replaced the unit after the threat. After I moved out and they checked the apartment, I was told that my deposit would be returned in 45 days. It's been 5 months with multiple phone calls and still no deposit return. Don't expect to get it back no matter how well you keep and clean the apartment. It's generally quiet, it's in a nice neighborhood, and the apartments are spacious for the price. Some units have tubs with spa, though they're older. The appliances, fixtures, and kitchen and bath flooring are generally old. Maintenance is pretty good and is easy to reach during the day (but virtually impossible after-hours). Darrel (maintenance) is friendly and very helpful. He does the best he can given the limitations by the owner(s). I wouldn't recommend the apartments if not for the maintenance staff, value of price for the size, pet-friendliness, nice neighborhood, and I believe the price has increased since I moved in, but they never increased my rent.
