What you didn't see when you signed your lease
I'd like to start off on a good note because this place isn't all bad. The staff is nice enough and are helpful. The hours the office is open are quite convienent and they maintain the grounds quite nicely. The apartments have decent sqaure footage and they include a linen closet, coat closet, pantry, two walk in closets (at leastin the 3 bdrm) outdoor storage, and if you don't have a washer and dryer you could use that closet for extra storage, and if you have a downstairs apartment then there is even more storage! The two patios are quite nice, something I'll miss. Parking hasn't really been an issue for us but we only have one vehicle. Our neighbors seem nice enough and for the most part, mind their own business. Children really aren't an issue...at least in the part we live in. When you recieve a note that they're goning to be around doing routine matainence, they are there! All in all, we've enjoyed our expeirence here at Princeton Lakes but we will not be renewing our lease! The carpet is a joke, whoever thought this color up just wasn't smart. There is even carpet in the dining room and with small children...its been a nightmare! I personally don't like the living/dining room combo. Our windows and doors leaked horribly all winter long and management did nothing to fix it. We were late only once and we even called the office before we were considered late but that didn't mean anything to them. Within 10 days they had filed papers for evictions and had it put on our credit report. Good luck trying to find another apartment with that on your credit report. For being low income housing, I find the rent quite steep and the things they take into consideration are rediculous. They're very much "by the book" and there are no "special" circumstances!Share This Review
