4.5/5 stars would be my more appropriate ratings. We had very good vibes throughout our 22 month stay at Saratoga apartments. Plainfield is a great location for those who prefer the town like feel with a proximity to the more crowded cities. Hummel Park is just few walks away which offers much needed respite and closer to nature experience away from the mundane. Pros : Layout : Very spacious and thoughtfully designed, separated bedrooms was an icing on the cake. Location : We were lucky to have natural light and privacy with a very good view and hardly any noise. Cardinals visited us regularly in our patio. Maintenance Staff : The maintenance staff here are amazing people who always sport a smile on their face. The office staff are very reasonable and professional. Angie helped with the needful swiftly on multiple occasions. Facilities : The apartment recreation area is available for a nominal fee to entertain guests and worked perfect for us for a baby shower function. The swimming pool is very well maintained. Cons : Insulation : We stayed in the upper floor and feel the flooring could have been stronger as the slightest of unavoidable/otherwise_acceptable noises were being warned. Appliances : The dishwasher was way too loud and weren't replaced/repaired despite multiple requests. Roads : The roads are uneven and need fixing. We're grateful for our stay here and would have continued to stay but have to move due to unavoidable circumstances. P.S. Parking was never a huge problem for us.
